Our dear planty/arty pal Amber Creswell Bell is at it again, this time curating an exhibition called ‘Fleurt’, an ode to the humble flower. Featuring a hand picked collection of very talented and in-demand artists, Fleurt opens at Saint Cloche gallery in Paddington this Saturday the 23rd of May.

Ameli Tanchitsa, 'The Passing 02', limited edition archival giclée print on 100% cotton rag paper, 88cmx63cm (framed)

‘Fleurt’ is the sequel show to the hugely popular (and sold out!) ‘Art/Vert’ exhibition, held earlier this year. Overflowing with rich, floral beauty, the exhibition is sure to ease you through the faded days of late autumn. The artists include:

Samantha Dennison
Nicola Higgins
Matilda Julian
Helen McCullagh
Pip Spiro
Alexandra Standen
Ameli Tanchitsa
Jill White
Ali Wood

An exhibition about flowers in art would not be complete without real, living flowers so Amber has lined up the very gorgeous floral designer Sophia Kaplan, who will be arranging large, whimsical floral installations within the gallery. ‘Pockets full of posies’ will be available to purchase, all lovingly arranged by Sophia, and each with a note detailing the meaning of the flowers in the arrangement as per the magical ‘Secret Language of Flowers’.

The show launches with champagne and an artist meet & greet from 10am SATURDAY 23rd MAY and runs through to SUNDAY 7th JUNE 2015.
