Homecamp: Outdoor Life, Indoor Comfort
We love camping here at The Planthunter. We’re also rather enamoured by great design. Whilst I do love the utilitarian nature of camping paraphernalia, aesthetics seem to lack just a little. Of course, the setting is of paramount importance when you’re roughing it but imagine if you also had a super dooper sexy tent for your superb setting? Well, hunters, look no further, Homecamp has arrived.
Homecamp is the brainchild of founders and partners Doron Francis and Stephanie Pajic who enjoy camping and the outdoors but were consistently underwhelmed with the quality of products on offer. They saw an opportunity for a camping brand that appealed to those who cared about quality, comfort and design.
‘We love getting out into nature, but we also value good quality and great design,” says Francis.
Camping doesn’t need to be a dreaded word. For us its about enjoying the outdoors, glass of wine in hand with friends and family away from the bustle of the city – not roughing it and being uncomfortable’ – adds Pajic.
Homecamp is aimed at those who want to set up camp and stay a while, rather than high tech mountaineers or hardcore adventurists. With society being more switched on and busier than ever before, Homecamp’s aim is to inspire people to get outside, switch off and enjoy all that nature has to offer – by making it attractive and easy.
Homecamp has an online shop selling not their signature bell tents, as well as a range of smaller outdoorsy products like stools, enamel plates and cups, gorgeous Wood&Faulk backpacks, woollen blankets and sleeping bags. It’s a rather lovely edit! In fact, it makes me want to switch off the computer and run to the trees. Camping. Ahh. The best, and now the beautifulest. YES!
ps. Homecamp also provide beautifully styled tents for events like weddings, corporate retreats and parties. The tents are fully kitted out with beds, linen, flowers, and all the rest. Check out their services here.
