The Planthunter’s First Birthday Party

Last Thursday we celebrated The Planthunters first birthday. Holy moly, I can’t believe a year has already passed. The night kicked off with a life drawing session, thanks to Planthunter contributor and amateur life model Luke Quinn!

Hendricks Gin made us a special Planthunter cocktail (very delicious!) and we sipped, scrawled, and chatted whilst Luke stoically exposed himself.

Jardine Hansen, a floral cowboy with a heart of green, transformed Work-Shop in Redfern into a jungle, Philip Shaw Wines donated some deliciously fermented grapes, Black Star Pastry fed us the best bread,  Sydney Art Store gave us the paper and charcoal for the life drawing session, and Garden Life loaned us some plants.

A huge thanks also to Daniel Shipp, David Whitworth, The Fourtynine Studio, Peter & Wendy Reid, Amber Creswell Bell and Will Reid for helping out, taking photos, cleaning, running around, etcetera. Here are some happy snaps….
